Inventor and Entrepreneur

Gary Baker

Sacred Innovations is the creation of Gary Baker, an inventor and entrepreneur with a deep fascination for the profound impact of sound on our well-being and consciousness. Since 1995, Gary has dedicated himself to researching and crafting unique sound instruments. His passion for sound and healing grew while collaborating with local musicians in recording and producing their art. With expertise in electronics engineering, industrial design, and manufacturing, Gary has crafted standard tuning forks, conceived the revolutionary ‘Hydro Acoustic Sound Table,’ designed customized large-scale tuning forks, and introduced the innovative ‘Auto Resonating Tuning Fork.’ Recently, he developed a cymatics device that demonstrates the science of sound waves and vibrations. Gary specializes in precision handcrafting acoustic instruments and offers an extensive range of products and services for sound therapy practitioners, including custom tuning forks designed to vibrate at any desired frequency. In 2012 Gary was commissioned to produce custom tuning forks which were presented to the winners of that years Grammy awards. Gary lives in the country near the picturesque town of Westport, Ontario, Canada where he is inspired by nature and leads a holistic lifestyle with interests including eco-living, Taiko drumming, crafts, kayaking, geodesic domes, and alternative energy.

The Meaning

Why Sacred Innovations ?

The term “sacred” refers to the science of sacred geometry which is used to describe a set of geometric principles and patterns that hold symbolic significance in various cultures and spiritual traditions. It is the study of shapes, ratios, and proportions that are inherently harmonious and aesthetically pleasing. These geometric patterns are fundamental to the creation and structure of the universe and are thought to have a profound influence on our consciousness.

Sacred geometry incorporates mathematical principles and recurring geometric shapes such as the circle, triangle, square, pentagon, and so on. Some common symbols in sacred geometry include the Flower of Life, the Seed of Life, the Vesica Piscis, the Golden Ratio, and the Fibonacci sequence.

Throughout history, sacred geometry has been associated with religious and spiritual practices, architecture, art, and design. It is often used in the construction of sacred spaces, such as temples, churches, and meditation halls, to create a sense of harmony and sacredness. It is also believed to have healing and transformative properties, and many people use sacred geometric symbols for meditation, energy work, and spiritual growth.

The study and application of sacred geometry can be found in various ancient civilizations, including Egyptian, Greek, Islamic, and Hindu cultures, as well as in mystical traditions such as Kabbalah and Hermeticism. In recent times, the concept of sacred geometry has gained popularity in engineering, architecture, and spirituality as well as holistic disciplines where it is often used as a tool for self- discovery, meditation, and understanding the interconnectedness of all things.
